Garage Doors

Collum & Gregg Ltd supply and fit both Manual & Automatic (Remote Control) roller shutter garage doors.

The roller shutter garage door has to be one of the neatest garage door solutions available, with vertical opening and closing and no internal tracking mechanism in the garage at all. The whole door will usually roll into a size of about 300 x 300mm in a position behind, underneath or in front of the garage lintel. roller garage door is the most versatile of doors as it can be manufactured to almost any size or colour.

The diagram below shows the typical installation position of a roller shutter door when installed inside the structural opening of the garage. When fitted like this the maximum width and height is normally achieved although a loss of garage length has to be considered.

Remote Control Garage Door Operators

A garage door operator is an electromechanical device for opening a garage door either remotely or by hard wired access control. Collum and Gregg Ltd supplies and installs electric operators for all types of garage doors and only uses top branded products as we feel the installation should only be carried out once and then operate perfectly every time. There are a lot of very cheap, noisy non-European, non-compliant electric operators available through various sources but buyers should be very aware of what you may be purchasing as it may not comply with current regulation and dangerous especially if incorrectly specified for the door type.
